This page is dedicated to Earl E.Shelton. (I assume that Earl was from Iowa. That is the reason for the Iowa flag above and the music 76 trombones from The Music Man) Earl was assigned to the 223rd Regt. We are in the process at the present time trying to find out what Company
Earl was assigned to. His daughter Julie seems to think that he may have been in Hq & Hq Co. I tend to
believe that he was assigned to one of the line
Companies. A few of the pictures have Earl and his
buddies wearing the CIB over their left pocket. If
anyone can identify the people in the following
photos please
The photos were taken by Earl Shelton while
stationed in Korea during the war. The photos were
donated by Ed & Julie Hartman, Evansdale,IA. Julie
is Earl's daughter.
