Jack Reissman was assigned to the 430th Engineer Battalion while in Korea. All photos were submited Jack. The430th did road work and and also built two bridges over the Soyang river near Inje, during the winter of '51-'52. The first bridge was a timber trestle, two way which replaced a Pontoon bridge. About 5 miles North of this bridge, we built a steel trestle two way bridge, that was a masterpiece as all of the steel has to be trucked on low boys that required special additions to the trucks because of the length of the beams.
