| The photos on this site were submitted by Gene Fingerhut. Gene was a member of Company "H", 160th Regt. He was sent to Korea in Jan 1952 and spent most of the time in 160th RCT, 2nd battalion, 40th Division, H (Howe) Company as platoon leader, 81mm mortars on Heartbreak Ridge (Hill 851). In Nov 1952, a massive attack by the North Koreans attempted to push them off Heartbreak Ridge. That night the paltoon fired three deuce and halfs and two 1 ton trucks of ammo. |
