The photo section is starting to pick up steam now as more and more photos are coming in. I will use this page to break down the various pages. When anyone sends me a lot of photos I will make a separate page for that individual. You will be able to link to their page below. Just click on the image to the left of their names.

I would like to thank Ken Thomas for all the help that he has contributed. Ken rounded up all the photos from the men of the Mosquitos Association and put them on a CD and sent it to me.

MOSQUITOS IN KOREA This is a link to the article on the Mosquitos that was highlighted at the USAF Museum at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.

KEN THOMAS In 1952 Ken served as a radio operator with the 6150th Tac.Con.Sq.(Radio Jeeps), which was part of the 6147th Tac. Con. Grp. Ken submitted a lot of photos.

BUD STEINHAUER Bud served in aircraft maintenance with the 6149th Tac.Con.Sq.(Aircraft Maintenance), which was part of the 6147th Tac.Con.Grp. Bud also has a lot of photos.

HOLLIS H.HALL Hollis was assigned to the 6150th TCS. He was a Radio Operator. He was assigned to support the Turkish Brg in the beginning. Later he was assigned to Mosquito Sherley. Shirley was an airborne communications aircraft.

DONALD DEAN Don was assigned as a Radio Operator to the 942nd FACS. Early spring reassigned to the 6147th Base Communications as a Radio Operator.

RICHARD L. SOUZA Dick was with the 6150th Tac Con Sq at Chunchon, Korea.

ROWLAND W. STRAKA Rowland was assigned to the 6150th Tac Con Sq and the 942nd Fwd Air Con Sq. He moved from Chunchon to Kimpo. There are over 120 colored photos on this page.

RUSSELL E. WEAVER Russ was assigned to the 6150th Tac Con Sq as a pilot and a Fwd Air Controller. Was in Korea from Sept 1952 thru May 1953.

WALTER A. PRZYPEK Walt was assigned to the 6148th Tac Con Sq as a Radio Mechanic. Statioed at Chunchon then moved with the Sq to Kimpo.

RAYFORD L. CANNON Rayford was assigned to the 6147th Air Base Sq as a Line Man. Was in Korea from Sept 1951 thru Aug 1952.

BUD RICK Bud submitted 12 photos and I put 3 from Camp Page and 4 from the Kimpo AB Newspaper.

JIM DOHERTY Jim submitted 9 photos. Jim was assigned to the 6149th Tac Control Sq in Korea. He worked in the Radio shop.

RON GEILING Ron was a member of the 942nd FACS. Where he served as a Radio Jeep Operator. Ron submitted photos of a T-6 crash site.

GEORGE HANRAHAN George was a member of the 6150th TACP. He was part of a Forward Observer Team. These duties took him all over Korea.

RICHARD JOHNSON Dick was a member of the 6148th TCS. He was a crew chief on a T-6.

JAMES J. SULLIVAN Jim was a pilot with the 6147th. This web site was put together by Jim's nephew.

VARIOUS OTHER PHOTOS On this site there are 2 pages of photos that were submitted by individuals that only had one or two photos.Photos will be added to this page as they come in.

ROK pilots that were assigned to the 6147th Tac Con Gp. This picture was taken early spring 1953. The pilots were (1)Capt J.H.Kohn (2)Capt Capt J.W.Kwon (3)Capt R.K.Kim (4)Maj K.W.Lee (5)Capt Y.N.Kim (6)Capt J.P.Leg (7)Capt Y.W.Kim. Interesting to note that all these pilots went on to retire from the ROK Air Force with the rank of Col and above.
