EVERYONE THAT WENT TO KOREA AS A REPLACEMENT AND WAS ASSIGNED TO THE 40th INF DIV HAS TO REMEMBER THIS AREA.

The map below shows where the MLR was on 27 July 1953. The 40th Inf Div sector was the Division symbol 4th from the right. Or directly north of the G in EIGHT ARMY.





I am starting to receive a lot of photos to put on this site. Every photo that I receive I put on the page that the individual was assigned to. These are mostly photos of individuals. Other photos that may share a common interest with the Division in general I copied and put on the 40th Div. Photo page. I will publish each and every photo that I receive. SEARCHING FOR INFORMATION OF FORMER MEMBERS OF THE 40th INF DIV Sometimes I receive a photo from a relative asking for information on their relatives that are now deceased. A must read site if you served with the 40th Inf Div during the Korean War. Sid Sultzbaugh is the webmaster for this site. Sid is a former member of "C" Company, 160th Regt. Deserves a lot of credit. He did a fine job on the site. Lots of good reading.

If you are not a member of this organization and you are a Korean War Vet I strongly urge you to join. The KWVA puts out a publication called "The Graybeards" every two months. This alone is worth the membership fees.
